Compared with CCFL, HCFL has many advantages in performance, but its use is limited due to the small number of suppliers. HCFL can achieve 3 times the brightness of the CCFL backlight, so you can reduce the number of lamps, thereby reducing costs. Moreover, the HCFL can also be used in the larger size of the TV, but also can be precisely adjusted to improve the contrast of the display screen. CNT (carbon nanotube) backlight is currently in the early stage of research and development. CNT backlight has the advantages of high brightness, low cost, energy saving, light weight, simple manufacture, good environmental stability and so on.
