According to the latest published DisplaySearch LED backlight panel shipment and forecast report pointed out that the LED backlight panel in the first quarter of 2009 shipments amounted to 1 million 600 thousand, compared with the previous quarter growth of 63%, and the year-on-year growth of 780%, LED display backlight panel in large size (10 inch) in the liquid crystal panel has the formation of a new trend. Estimated by LED backlight of large-size panel shipments will reach nearly 1 million in 4 million 500 thousand in the year 2009, at the same time in the fourth quarter of this year the penetration rate will climb to 25%.
