Chikada Reiko: we do lighting design using LED, just talked about a theater lobby, which is not suitable for LED, is to prevent the generation of noise. Most Japanese believe that LED itself brings energy, but does not realize that LED is an important feature of quality. Now, there are many advantages of LED, but also a lot of shortcomings, such as uniformity is not enough, this also needs to be further improved through future technology development. Question two: in the lighting design of the acoustic factors considered more? How to solve and communicate? Chikada Reiko: on the large theater or lobby design, the need for some audio experts to communicate with them, consulting. We use LED when the lighting design, sound design and professional cooperation organization in the world famous, but we still have one hundred percent to eliminate the noise, because this is not technically possible. Question three: China's current urban lighting is like Japan's 80 and 90s economic bubble feeling? Now three years later, it seems to restore to the original state of the trend, one of the reasons is that Japan's aging, aging is very fast, the proportion of people over the age of 60-65 is also increasing year by year. For the elderly, they want to be bright, because to give them a sense of security, this is an important prerequisite. In my opinion, it is not enough to take into account the fact that by improving the brightness, people have a sense of security. In fact, there are methods, such as we can reduce the gap between the two, such as plane gap, make it easier for people to walk, or increase the size of the text, so that even without increasing the brightness, also can realize the feeling, also can give people a sense of security, so that people can live comfortably.

Question four: what is the mainstream of the current design in Japan?

Chikada Reiko: the goal of Japanese lighting designers is to make the society and people's life more comfortable. But in reality, the Japanese economy is just a bit better, so the economy is still very large determinants, especially in some commercial establishments, for example by some lighting color or mobile lighting to emphasize these aspects. Taking into account the economic aspects of these design elements are reduced.
