LED model equipment vendor Single Well orders

Single WELl Industrial has received new orders from LED packaging company in mainland China, backlight manufacturer Forward Electronics and AUO subsidiary Wellypower Optronics.

Single Well expects orders in December to reach 9280 NT dollars, from mainland China's LED packaging manufacturers accounted for nearly $2000 nt. However, due to the shipment of LED devices and customer recognition requires 3-6 months, so the order of December revenue will not be credited to the company's revenue in the first half of 2008.

The confirmation of the order in the first half of 2008 has been more than 300 million new Taiwan dollars, SingleWell company should see from this year about NT $500 million ($15 million 300 thousand) up to 6.5-7 million NT dollars in 2008, an annual increase of 30-40%.

Tatung, a subsidiary of Forward Electronics, will focus on LED packaging and seek access to the high brightness LED market. The company is expected to be the next 150 LED model equipment orders, the purpose is to upgrade the current high brightness LED production line to 3-4 production line to prepare.

LED is expected to replace the use of cold cathode fluorescent lamp for LCD panel lighting applications, CCFL manufacturers in Taiwan Wellypower Optronics is developing LED solutions. Despite initial shipments, the company is still seeking to expand its production.
