LG display and Kodak sign OLED cross licensing agreement

In March 15, 2008, LG announced that it had signed a licensing agreement with Kodak on OLED and related TFT technologies. The two companies will build a stronger win-win cooperation to enhance the competitiveness of both sides in the OLED. Under the agreement, Kodak holds OLED patented technology that allows LG monitors to purchase Kodak proprietary OLED materials, and uses Kodak's processing technology, which will strengthen its OLED research, product development and manufacturing. On the other hand, LG display control of the core technology of TFT, Kodak in the field of technology related to the TFT OLED grassroots access to its technical support, thereby strengthening the development of OLED.
