LSI Industries LED lights illuminate the George Washington Bridge

Recently, New York and New Jersey Port Authority announced the completion of the George Washington Bridge chain on the installation of efficient LED lighting.

It is reported that the New York Electric Power Bureau (NYPA) joint New York and New Jersey port authority, signed with LSI Industries, so that the development of LSI lighting system to replace the bridge chain lights.

The lighting system uses 156 steering LED lamps, the new LED chain lighting has many advantages compared with the previous mercury halogen lamp:

1 efficient light distribution

2 reduce energy consumption

3 average life of 60000 hours (about 15 years, the average life expectancy of the previous lighting system for a period of 1 years)

4 reduce carbon dioxide by 220000 pounds per year

Currently, LSI in the New York area of the bridge to replace the LED lamp.
