Last year, India outsourcing growth of 33% sales amounted to $23 billion 600 million

Yesky June 2nd news (Laoshen compilation), according to foreign reports, the National Association of India software company (Nasscom) announced on Thursday that the call center and back office the India software export and service sales reached $23 billion 600 million last year, last year refers to the end of March 31st last year.

According to a preliminary report released in February by the National Association of software companies in India, India's software export sales grew 32% last year.

Nasscom also optimistic about the future of India's software and services sales growth. The association predicts that by March 31, 2007, India software exports and services will grow by 27-30%, total sales will be between 290--310 billion.

Due to the impact of e-government projects, health care industry and the retail industry IT investment, India's domestic software and services market will grow by 20%.

With foreign companies will contract to India company, or to establish their own R & D and service center in India, India has become a major center of the outsourcing business, involved in the business of software development, call center and back office operations. Nasscom's sales also include operating income from the India branch of the multinational corporation and the India.

By March 31st, software export and service related sales grew by 33% to $13 billion 300 million, while call center and business process outsourcing (BPO) business sales grew by $6 billion 200 million to $37%. Sales of technical services and product exports was $4 billion, an increase of 27% over the previous fiscal year. (end)
