Late last month, Taiwan digital TV set-top boxes cumulative sales of over one million

Taiwan Digital Television Commission from non-profit (DTVC) statistics, to the end of March this year, the total number of millions of digital TV set-top box (STBs) have been sold in the Taiwan market, the growth of 130.4% over the same period last year. This shows that the demand for digital TV services showed a rapid growth trend.

In Taiwan, there are currently 5 digital Corporation for Television Broadcasts: Taiwan television Limited by Share Ltd (TTV), Chinese television company (CTV), China Television Company (CTS), BBC television company (FTV), a total of fifteen channels.
