Lynk Labs AC LED technology patent

Lynk Labs is AC LED optical engine and power supply equipment, leading technology provider, has been the company's first U.S. patents, patent No. 7489086, named as "alternating current method and device for driving light emitting diode and AC LED (AC light emitting diode and AC LED drive methods and apparatus)."

The AC LED technology patent covers equipment, optical engines, electronic transformers and AC LED lighting system power supply. AC LED devices include high voltage and low voltage, high frequency and low frequency AC power supply using various driving methods.

The determined method of driving the patent after AC LED devices or optical engine applications, including 50/60Hz high voltage or low voltage, and high frequency (1000Hz or higher) power supply, including the power supply of electronic transformer lighting for ten years has been used (usually in the range of 20-50 kHz).

The patent also includes capacitive current control (known as Lynk's C3LED Technology) drive method, which can include the use of a LED inherent capacitance or LED package to drive the AC LED resonance.

Lynk said that by fine-tuning the BriteDriver AC LED power supply to match with a particular LED RLC element or optical engine, one day may be able to maximize the effectiveness of the LED lighting system. The result can produce up to 98% lighting efficiency.

The same patent is pending and will soon be approved in Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, the European Patent Office (EPO), Hongkong, India and Mexico.

The production of a large number of original equipment manufacturers (OEM) in different markets are being integrated into Lynk Labs's AC LED technology.
