MITSUBISHI, SHARP and other Japanese manufacturers have expanded LED capacity

According to foreign media reports, due to the recent shortage of LCD TVs and lighting LED and accessories, MITSUBISHI chemical, Toshiba and other Japanese manufacturers have expanded their LED capacity.

MITSUBISHI chemical plans to invest 7 billion yen to expand the production capacity of the original LED production line, is expected to 2015 LED production capacity will be raised to now the times of 6.

SHARP announced the day before the production of LCD TV backlight and LED lighting factory in Fushan this year with the blue LED chip. By 2011, SHARP and Sanyuan two factories in Fushan blue LED chip production capacity can reach 5 billion.

Global LED manufacturers TOYOTA plans to achieve annual production capacity doubled in 2012, from the current 5 billion to 10 billion LED.
