Middle east road public places will eliminate inefficient lighting

These measures are part of China to speed up the elimination of inefficient lighting products, and further promote the green lighting project. According to the development and Reform Commission deputy director Jie Zhenhua introduced, in order to accelerate the elimination of inefficient lighting products, last year in the country a total of 62 million energy-saving lamps will be promoted, the task of this year is to promote 120 million, this work is currently being implemented throughout the organization.

Accelerate the elimination of incandescent lamps, promote energy-saving lamps is an important way for the international community to energy-saving emission reduction and climate change. Currently, Australia, Canada, the United States, the European Union, Japan and other countries have issued a timetable for the elimination of incandescent.

China is a major producer, consumer and exporter of lighting products. In 2008, China produced 4 billion 300 million incandescent lamp, compact fluorescent lamp (ie, energy-saving lamps) production of only 3 billion 200 million, of which exports accounted for up to 2/3.

At present, Chinese lighting electricity accounted for about 12% of total electricity consumption, the use of energy-saving lamps to replace incandescent lamp can save 60% - 80%, if the incandescent lamps in use are all replaced with energy-saving lamps, a year can save 48 billion kWh (equivalent to half of the Three Gorges Project last year's electricity), 48 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
