Mitsumi charge pump white LED driver

Mitsumi Electric has developed a charge pump type IC MM3217 which can be used for white LED drivers in mobile phones.

The switching frequency of the device can be varied according to the load current and thus has a higher efficiency. In addition, the forward voltage drop of each LED can be stabilized by 1 to 1.5 times the automatic switching of the boost to realize the long life of the battery.

MM3217 white LED driver IC typical current consumption is 2mA (1.5 times, 0.5mA (boost) 1 times boost) and 0.1 mu A (off), the internal oscillator frequency is 1MHz, LED current accuracy + 2%, LED + 1.5%, current, maximum LED current (1 LED) 30mA (OUT), the output terminal of the maximum current 120mA.

MM3217 using SQFN-16 package, the overall size of 4 x 4 x 0.85mm (including terminals).
