Motorola this year, the North Asia market mobile phone strategy focused on three applications

March 8th news according to Personal Communications Department of Motorola North Asia General Manager Michael Tatelman said, in 2005, three key areas of mobile applications will become the company in North Asia (China, Japan and South Korea) business focus. This year the company launched a mobile phone will highlight seamless mobility, 3G technology and multimedia applications three features.

Tatelman said that through the integration of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi features on the network system, Motorola is planning to provide users with seamless mobility solutions.

As China and Taiwan are expected to soon launch 3G services, Motorola intends to launch six models of 3G phones in the region this year. Tatelman said that the company will ensure close cooperation with local telecom operators, and in accordance with the requirements of the market at the right time to release these new products.

At the same time, Tatelman said, the company also plans to further improve some models it is integrated into the mobile phone on the multimedia application in this year, such as iTunes mobile music and recently launched a new push to see (Push-to-View) function. Tatelman said North Asia has now become the most important market for Motorola.

The company currently has a GSM R & D center in Beijing, and it also has a research and development base in Japan and South korea.
