Motorola will invest GPS semiconductor software service providers

Motorola (Motorola), Global Locate of company strategic equity investment. The latter is a privately held GSP semiconductor, software and service providers. The specific financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Global Locate was founded in 1999, and assisted global positioning system to provide mobile wireless technology industry (A-GPS). The company offers IndoorGPS technology to a variety of mobile wireless devices, including mobile phones, smart phones, PND (portable navigation systems), two-way radios, and automotive applications.

Global Locate company Wide Reference Network network products including World (WWRN) and A-GPS Server, the former is the source of high efficiency GPS rescue data, which is compatible with the standard kernel software, network equipment supplier for its core network products.
