OLED (organic light-emitting diode) technology, industry, applications are mutually dependent and promoted, the standard is to regulate the industry, promote industrial development, an important link. With the development of 3G (third generation mobile communication) mobile phone, mobile video display and other consumer electronics products, OLED will have a better development. OLED large scale industrialization, flexible display technology, PLED (polymer light-emitting diode) technology development, will bring huge business opportunities for the next phase of the OLED industry.

In the IECTC110/WG5OLED international standard, Chinese is with Japan and South Korea is one of the important angle of a situation of tripartite confrontation. Although China's OLED industry and Japan and South Korea have a certain gap, but we are not inferior in international standards. Our country not only from the outset in the formation of OLED international standard working group, all of the standard filing, discuss and vote for work, but also led the two international standards, Tsinghua University (Beijing weixinnuo Technology Co. Ltd) and Zhejiang University (Hangzhou Zhejiang tricolor Instruments Co. Ltd.) were undertaken to draft IEC62341-6-1 and two IEC62341-6-3 the standard, to serve as a project leader. It should be said that China is one of the few areas in the international standards of the standard discourse right.

Tsinghua University is responsible for the standard has passed the international vote, is about to release. At present, the Zhejiang University is responsible for the standard "OLED image quality test method", in the standard proposed "motion image resolution" test method, which is a new concept. The performance of the flat panel display on the moving image has been one of the focuses of the industry.
