New view of blue ocean market: Liansheng photoelectric and Otway focusing on UVLED vehicle market

Optical integrated silicon substrate

HPO has the world's first silicon substrate bonding technology and patents, which is used in wafer fabrication process to replace the substrates used in the growth of crystals, such as sapphire substrates and GaAs substrates, to enhance the reliability of components by using high heat dissipation and high conductivity. Vehicle lighting for the LED lighting application of the blue ocean market, Liansheng photoelectric has been used for automotive lighting for a long time. At present, we also actively promote the use of vehicle night vision system, win SiliLED5, SiliLED9 and SiliLED8 products, and help customers create better products in the car market. For products that are invisible, UV products require more stringent requirements for high power, high light flux density and stable reliability. LED, a vertical silicon substrate bonding technology, is very suitable for high efficiency output under high current operation. Take 80mil395nmUVLED as an example, under the 2.5A operation, WPE reaches 48%, and it can operate steadily for a long time when the output power density is up to 12W/cm2. The UVLED market is biased towards custom-made demand making. With the close cooperation with the system manufacturers, the joint market has developed a 5050 package UVLED module (385-405nm), making it used in printing ink drying and curing, and in 2.5A current drive. The output can reach 5000mW light output (Fig. two, FIG. three).

The composition of 365nmUV is near the limit of InGaN material. The reliability of the product is more important, such as the quality of the epitaxial layer, the technology of wafer fabrication and the optimization of electrode design. Liansheng optoelectronics has been working on UV products for many years. The new version of 46mil365nmUV adds high temperature and low indium gallium high speed electron diffusion structure, and matches the new electrode of n-AlGaN. It improves the transverse conduction of electrons, solves the problem of poor current diffusion of n-AlGaN, and improves the overall brightness. Grain size, the operating temperature is also spread to the whole grain evenly, thereby enhancing the reliability of the new version of 365nmUVLED (Fig. four). In terms of light intensity distribution, the new 365nmUVLED light intensity occupies 80% of the total area in the 1500~2000a.u. area, while the old 365nmLED intensity accounts for about 55% of the total area in the 1500~2000 area, and the other 35% is distributed in 1000~1500a.u.. Therefore, the uniformity of the light and the overall light intensity show that the new version has better design. Light intensity distribution (Fig. five).
