Nichia LED patent litigation filed against B&Q in the UK

The Japanese LED maker Nichia (Nichia) today said in a statement, the company has been in the London High Court patent court against a British company infringes Nichia LED patent. The defendant's company is B & QPLC, the UK's DIY distributor.

Nichia said, Britain's B & QPLC sales of LED products in violation of three Nichia YAG phosphor in the LED patent.

The violation of the patent number is the European Patent Number: European Patents Nos.09366822197053, and2276080 (YAG-based phosphor patents), filed Proceedings: 5/27 (UK time).

These are Nichia infringing LED products as many as 20 items, including 240 watt LED lamps (model YF-10-44), Nichia stressed that to safeguard the rights and interests and Sue, and any market in the world, through the law to safeguard the company's rights advocate.
