Nichia billion light accused of patent infringement case, billion light wins

LED, the leading factory Nichia (NICHIA) filed a lawsuit to Taiwan Banqiao District Court on four years ago, against Taiwan factory billion light (2393) alleged infringement of Nichia LED package in the new article 089036 patent. Everlight said Nichia alleged model 99-215 UWC/TR8 and 99-115 UWC/XXX/TR8 LED products, has been approved by the Ministry of economic affairs Intellectual Property Office patent No. D104147 certificate of patent registration, no infringement of Nichia patent in Taiwan.

Billion light will not compensate Nichia up to NT $80 million compensation for damage. Everlight chairman Ye Yinfu said, billion light will not require the Nichia decision to give other billion light compensation.

Ye Yinfu further stressed that this is the first victory of the Taiwan LED factory and international manufacturers in patent litigation.
