Ningbo: planning semiconductor lighting industry bigger and stronger

The program is divided into three stages. The first stage: 2008 to promote the integration and upgrade of traditional lighting industry, a breakthrough in LED backlight and other high-end applications, expand the scale of the packaging industry, to achieve epitaxial chip link breakthrough, related industry output value reached 15 billion yuan. The second phase to 2010: the formation of special products and core industry in LCD backlight and other fields, has become an important regional packaging production and research base, the extension of the chip industry scale, establishing perfect system of industry, industrial output value reached 35 billion yuan, and cultivate a group of LED lamps, with international market competitiveness LCD backlight and packaging and chip companies. Third to 2020, more than 100 billion yuan of industrial scale, and in lighting, backlighting, landscape, supporting materials, control circuit in areas such as the formation of international competitive advantage, to build domestic and international semiconductor lighting industry core area. According to the plan, the city of semiconductor lighting industry development in key areas including high power LED as the representative of the packaging field, LCD panel with LED backlight field, LED lighting field, power driver chip and module etc., and identifies some of the main project. In addition, the city will build semiconductor lighting industry alliance, build public research and innovation platform and public information service platform, the construction of demonstration project to guide and foster inter regional cooperation mechanisms, to promote the integration of LED and traditional lighting industry, improve the industrial system, integrate resources, enhance the market competition ability and sustainable development ability. The demonstration will also establish a landscape project, in Sanjiang six shore and the surrounding area landscape construction of LED demonstration project; construction technology of energy saving, green lighting the city landscape, providing better culture, leisure and entertainment, fully show the characteristics and advantages of LED; promote the development and application of the industrial products.
