Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IES:Illuminating Engineering Society of North America), has announced that they will host the twenty-eighth annual meeting of the regional road and lighting. In this type of meeting, road and regional lighting conference is the only one, will be invited to the industry experts, and a series of outdoor lighting issues to open an open discussion of information exchange. The meeting also provides educational consulting opportunities to help promote the healthy development of the street and regional lighting industry.
The day before the meeting (Sunday) is a special lecture on outdoor lighting, including entry level, intermediate level, computer aided outdoor lighting design and LED outdoor lighting (this year's new course).
According to the plan, the meeting will last 3 days. The first day of the meeting, will be from the U.S. Department of energy's Jim Brodrick address, and then will be held, such as LED technology updates, plasma lighting, legislative issues, white light design and bridge lighting. The second day: a case study of renewal and Sustainability (for example, the public facilities of a university campus, remote monitoring, illuminate the kickbacks and sources of funding, and the Minnesota Department of transportation), and outdoor lighting prospect. The third day: urban lighting master plan, the impact of lighting on human health, the U.S. Department of energy parking lot lighting projects and IES road file update.
In addition, in order to make the meeting more satisfactory, there are group discussions, exhibitions, luncheon and evening entertainment.
