Working principle
OLED refers to the organic semiconductor materials and organic light-emitting materials driven by the electric field, through carrier injection and recombination led to the technology of luminescence. The principle is to use a transparent ITO glass electrode and the metal electrode as anode and cathode devices, driven in a certain voltage, the electrons and holes are injected from the cathode and anode to electron transport layer and hole transport layer, and then migrate to the light emitting layer formed after the encounter exciton luminescent molecules excited by radiation, the latter issue visible light. The advantage of OLED:
Low cost, simple process, less use of raw materials. One of the most important reasons why people believe that OLED will become the LCD alternative technology is its potential to reduce processing costs. In addition to the material and process requirements are less than LCD near 1/3, OLED processing technology is much simpler than LCD. According to relevant information, OLED display requires 86 processing procedures, while the LCD screen requires more than 200 processes. In the future to determine the vitality of the cost of large screen display field, which will undoubtedly increase the weight of OLED competition.
All solid state strong vibration resistance, can achieve soft screen display, the use of plastic, polyester film or film as a substrate, OLED screen can be thinner, and even can be folded or rolled up. At present, due to the soft substrate coating process still immature, display products can be folded or coiled is not commercially available, but that everything will be in the near future.
The response time of the fast response is microsecond, which is the 1/1000 of the response time of the ordinary liquid crystal display, which is suitable for playing dynamic images, and has a wide viewing angle, and the width of the upper and the lower left and right angles is more than 170 degrees.
