OPTEK 3D LED array package to provide a new dimension of automotive lighting applications

TT electronics's OPTEK technology company recently launched the industry's brightest single light source packaging visible light LED package, the package is amber, blue, green, red or white LED array provides a full 120 degree perspective. Wide viewing angle is the key to the integration of solid lighting source to the interior and exterior lighting, indoor and outdoor electronic signals and display, as well as architectural lighting and general lighting applications.

The Lednium 9 series 1W LED device, which is installed on a 1.3 square inch positive electrode aluminum package, has reached a brightness of 330 lumens, with an area of less than 0.5 OPTEK. OPTEK's Lednium series LED package provides a different combination of strings, so that the LED can be installed in the form of 3, 6, or 9, allowing engineers to change the light output and power consumption.

The DC forward current of the device is 1.05A, the peak current pulse is 3A, the typical characteristics of the forward voltage to 9.25V 6.3V (according to the color set), all the reverse voltage of the device is 15V, the maximum allowable junction temperature is 130 DEG C (the average junction to board thermal resistance is 5 DEG C/W), the working temperature range of devices is 50 C +80 C.
