OSRAM OSTAR Projection LED module provides higher brightness

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors Semiconductors (OSRAM Opto) launched a new OSTAR Projection product packaging six chips, the achievement of excellent brightness. OSTAR Projection application in the mini projector, computer games can create a bright color effect. OSTAR Projection system brightness of 120 lumens, can be used in large format format to display the game or screen display content to the wall.

Believe that this progress will allow ordinary computer users and gamers. OSTAR Projection six chip products for pocket projectors provide strong LED monochromatic light source, providing its brightness, color and flexibility. In the future, users no longer have to watch the game on the small screen display device or other display. The contents of the display to the wall after the projection, the user can enjoy a large surface, colorful content, then bid farewell to play in front of the small screen in the computer era.

OSTAR Projection with red (617nm), green (517nm), blue (655nm) chips each one. This marks the OSTAR Projection products can be displayed in the color of the color triangle and the number of colors higher than the National Television System Committee (National TELevision Committee) standards. OSTAR six chip package within the Projection, a single block area of 1 mm2, using a trial and test of thin film technology, can effectively transfer the light generated on the surface of the chip. Using three kinds of light source, pocket projector system brightness can reach 120 lumens. Through the optimization of the system, the brightness can reach 140 lumens. OSTAR Projection metal core circuit board made of new materials, the thermal impedance of up to 2K/W, can effectively spread the heat generated. Two kinds of packaging, chip surface alignment is different, so that potential customers in the lighting system design has more flexibility.

The new OSTAR Projection product life can be up to 50000 hours.

This is equivalent to the continuous use of 5.7 years, far beyond the traditional projector lighting system life.
