PHILPS announced the acquisition of LED manufacturers will be 592 million euros

PHILPS recently announced that it will acquire a total of 592 million euros acquisition of a professional LED (next generation light source) is located in Boston, Kinetics Color. The transaction is expected to be completed in the second half of 2007. PHILPS lighting CEO Theo van Deursen said the move will enable PHILPS to become the leader in the rapid growth of solid-state lighting business.
