PHILPS second quarter net income of $1 billion 569 million

Royal Dutch Philips Electronics Ltd recently announced the 2007 second quarter financial report, second quarter non interest and tax revenues totaled 389 million euros, accounting for 6.4% of total sales. Sales of up to 6 billion 100 million euros, compared with the second quarter of 2006 was flat; high profit sector achieved an increase of 7%. It is worth noting that PHILPS from the sale of TSMC (TS MC) shares obtained 1 billion 220 million euros, so that net income from the euro in the second quarter of 2006 to Euro 1 billion 569 million euros.
