PI launches new LinkSwitch-PH series LED driver IC

For high voltage integrated circuit industry high efficient power conversion of the leader of the Power Integrations company announced today that the LinkSwitch-PH series of products of its popular add seven new LED driver IC. The LinkSwitch-PH device integrates a PFC/CC controller, a 725 V MOSFET and a MOSFET driver into a single package, which can greatly simplify the circuit layout and design, and omit the parasitic elements between the controller and the MOSFET. The new IC up to 25 elements used to eliminate the traditional isolation flyback design to achieve low cost, high reliability, save the components including high voltage and large capacity electrolytic capacitor and coupler device, these devices are most likely to limit the service life of the LED lamp.

Designers use these devices for solid-state lighting design, it can be predicted that the working life of the driver and its precise control of the LED array. "
