Prema 12V LED driver can support 3 series LED

PREMA Semiconductor company's new PR4130 constant current driver can control 3 series LED. Even if one or two LED are not connected or shorted, the current and brightness are kept constant and the reliability is high.

PR4130 constant current driver supply voltage from 10V to 14.4V, can be maintained for a short time the highest voltage 21V. It requires only 1 external resistors to adjust the LED current in the 5mA to 30mA range. As the current control is very accurate, so the brightness of the LED remains constant, almost independent of the supply voltage and the number of connected LED.

The PR4130 circuit is used to make up for the deficiency of the series LED circuit, so as not to cause a series of LED faults due to a LED fault. The zener diode circuit is used to provide current and is also used to turn off a LED while providing control of all series LED brightness currents, even when a short circuit occurs or one or two LED faults also remain smooth and constant. The zener diode circuit provides up to 2.3V LED forward voltage.
