Roman Haas set up Asia Pacific manufacturing technology center in Taiwan

Roman Haas (Rohmhaas) electronic materials company CMP Technology Department announced that the company will set up a gasket manufacturing and technology center in Taiwan area south of bamboo park. Currently, the Asia Pacific region has accounted for more than 65% of the CMP Technologies business, the newly established manufacturing plants and technology centers will help expand its business development in the Asia Pacific region.

New Roman Haas CMP Technologies Asia Pacific manufacturing technology center will cover the next generation IC1000 polishing pad production, a sophisticated application laboratory, as well as sales and customer support office. The center is expected to be put into commercial production in the first quarter of 2007, the close relationship between it and the whole of Asia of the factory, to respond quickly to the existing 300mm customers and ten years in the construction of a new manufacturing plant needs, and to provide local support.

This new factory and technology center is Roman Haas in addition to Japan, the first major investment in Asia for chemical mechanical polishing pad. In addition, the company is still retained in Taiwan, Hsinchu and Tainan, as well as mainland China, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan and South Korea to deal with CMP support services in Asia sales and customer service office.
