Recommend the use of high brightness LED as the light source of fire emergency signs

Abstract: This paper analyzes the energy consumption situation, emergency lights of different light fire service life and cost, expounds the use of LED as the light source of fire emergency lights advantage, and recommend widespread use of this kind of fire emergency lights.

1, the status of our country's fire emergency sign lamp product fire emergency signs is an important part of the building fire emergency lighting system, in the event of a fire to play the following tasks:

(1) indicating safety exit and direction;

(2) indicating the floor, and other places of refuge layer security;

(3) indicating the fire extinguishers position and direction;

According to China's building codes and technical specification of fire protection, the fire emergency lights (hereinafter referred to as the "lights") have been widely used in all kinds of public buildings and residential buildings, has become an important part of building fire safety system. According to incomplete statistics, the number of such signs installed and put into use every year between 150 ~ 2 million units. The vast majority of these lamps are continuous (Chang Liang) signs, that is, these signs are put into use since the beginning of the consumption of electricity every day. Of course, according to the different light source, the consumption of electricity is also very different.

Fluorescent lamp and incandescent lamp as a traditional symbol of the light source, has been widely used in the world. The total amount of the application is about 80% of the total amount. China is the first to promote the use of electroluminescent screen and LED as a symbol of light source. Since the national standard GB179452000 "fire emergency lamp" after the promulgation and implementation of the national fire electronic product quality supervision and inspection center according to the standard of fire emergency lighting products production and sales in China are examined. In the continuous promotion of the industry, in the past two years, with LED as the light source of the lamp with its long life, beautiful, electricity and other advantages have been rapid development. Accounted for almost all of the number of detected signs 1/3. While the fluorescent lamp and incandescent lamp as the light source of the share of the lamp is declining, has now been reduced to all the number of detected signs of 1/3. However, due to historical reasons, fluorescent lamp, incandescent lamp and electroluminescent screen as the light source of the lamp, still in the use of a larger share of the field, is not conducive to the establishment of a conservation oriented society.

2, the use of different light source lamp energy consumption comparison

As everyone knows, the light source is power consumption in the light condition, the work of the relevant circuit and power consumption. At present, our country each year in the construction of the installation of the use of the logo lights at least 1 million 500 thousand, most of these signs for the duration of the logo lights, every hour in the consumption of electricity. As we all know, the earth's resources are limited, the world is advocating energy conservation. China has also put forward a new energy saving requirements, this requirement has been launched in all walks of life. The fire emergency sign lamp is an indispensable part of the fire safety system in the building. It is an important fire fighting equipment to protect the personal safety. Therefore, we have to consider the use of energy-saving lamps, in order to meet the requirements of national energy conservation policy. The following analysis of the use of different light source lamp power consumption.

(1) for the light source lights with incandescent lamp and fluorescent lamp, fluorescent lamp, we take 8W as an example. 8W light source consumption, plus other corresponding circuit consumption, the actual power consumption of each lamp should be about 32W.

(2) electroluminescent screen power is generally 3W, coupled with the matching circuit, the actual power consumption of each lamp is about 21W.

(3) high brightness LED light source as a sign of general power for the 0.5W, plus matching circuit, the actual power consumption of each lamp is about 4.6W.

Based on this, it is possible to calculate the annual power consumption and electricity consumption of the three kinds of light sources (as shown in Table 1).

From table 1 we can clearly see that energy costs and the use of different sources of annual consumption of lights. It is self-evident that, from the perspective of energy saving and saving money, we should choose the high brightness LED as the light source.

3. Life analysis of different light sources

According to the current level of development of science and technology, marking the lamp life mainly depends on the light source and the battery. According to the battery product standards, the battery life of 4 years minimum (35040h) or full charge - full discharge cycle of 400 times. To meet the requirements of the two have met the requirements of the standard. And the service life of different light sources is also certain (as shown in Table 2).
