Rising demand for infrared LED in Asia is expected to increase by 20%

Asia infrared LED industry with rising demand is expected to increase this year, especially from household appliances, telecommunications, PC and peripheral equipment, safety and medical equipment application. Manufacturers either build new plants or buy new equipment to expand production capacity. With the expansion of production capacity, production is expected to grow by 20% this year. In mainland China, there are about 50 suppliers to provide infrared LED. It is understood that the growth of LED production is mainly from the rapid growth in demand for security products, compared with the same period last year, the output figures, is expected to have an increase of 100%. In order to meet rising demand, companies have to install additional automatic production lines to increase production capacity.
