Product Maintenance

Rolle grew up, and the mystery of the growers was...

A Italy Rolle, a vanilla, used to replace the high pressure sodium lamp with LED, found that it could promote plant growth and reduce energy consumption on the farm.

The grower, located in the southern port of Italy, mainly produced Basil for salads, spaghetti and other dishes, has been using the high pressure sodium lamp in its greenhouse.

In order to avoid typical Basil disease, growers use artificial light for several hours a day in a greenhouse, which increases the cost.

Red, super red and blue LED lamps are used in different proportions, which can accelerate the growth time of basil, shorten the harvest time by 5 days, and increase crop yield.

Marco Boselli, the manager of the plant, said, "we are worried about the problem of bacterial proliferation because the Peronospara fungi have been eradicated by the heat produced by HPS lighting, but after LED, we have not encountered any problems."

"We can also observe that our Basil grows better and faster because the proportion of blue light is low, the proportion in the LED scheme is 5%, and the proportion of the previous HPS scheme is 24%."

"Durable, energy-efficient and durable LED technology is becoming more and more popular and will replace standard gardening lighting one day," said Sebastian Lyschic, a OSRAM optoelectronic global project manager.
