SHARP developed LED xenon lamp light can replace!

In SHARP showcase the company's electronic components "2007 SHARP Electronic Components Exhibition" reference exhibited a LED flash products oriented digital cameras and other products (Figure 1). The light intensity of the LED chip is 11CD, the luminous flux is 48lm, and the luminous efficiency is 80lm/W. Flash light, said the "flash index (Guide Number)" is equivalent to 4, can be used as a general pocket camera flash. To replace the previous xenon lights, the continuous light cannot be realized by using xenon lamp.

Use SHARP envisioned for video and photos, digital camera. The utility model can be used as an ordinary flash lamp when shooting a picture. The recent digital camera, not only can take pictures, but also can shoot a video camera is increasing, the company expects the future can be continuously lit LED flash demand will increase.

But the cost is relatively high. Because a flash requires the use of 8 LED chip, so the price will be up to several times of the xenon lamp.
