Samsung LCD market growth to create new production lines

As flat display of world famous manufacturer, South Korea's Samsung Electronics Co Ltd said on September 5th, will invest $1 billion 720 million to build third high-tech LCD production line, to meet the growing market demand for computer monitors and tv.

According to Reuters reported on September 5th, this production line will use the latest seventh generation production line technology, is expected to be formally put into mass production in the second half of next year. The plant will be located in the southern part of Seoul, South Korea's capital, close to Samsung and Sony Corp joint venture LCD production line.

From the analysis of the impact of the company, Samsung is undoubtedly the leader in this field. With the large screen display market matures, Samsung Corp realized that must rely on a large number of investment from the fierce competition in the market to stand out. Last year, Samsung Corp released the second generation of the seventh generation LCD production line to build plans, the production line is expected to be formally put into operation in April next year.

The Samsung Corp increase for the LCD product development behavior is not without reason, according to industry analysts predict, given the rapid growth of market demand, the third quarter of this year prices will be rising in liquid crystal display.
