Samsung in Switzerland installed the world's first 3D LED movie screen

Samsung launched the first LED movie screen in July 2017. Since then, the company has these screens installed in Seoul, Busan, Shanghai and other places in the cinema. So far, Samsung has only 2D version of the LED screen film. But Samsung ISE (Integrated Systems Europe) 2018 officially launched the LED 3D version of the movie screen, this screen has officially been installed into the theater.

In Imaculix AG, Samsung has installed the world's first 3D Cinema LED screen in the Swiss Arena Cinemas'Sihlcity theatre. The 3D model provides all the advantages of the standard Cinema LED screen, while increasing the 3D function, can be used for high quality display 2D and 3D film.

Samsung said, the screen will remain the same brightness, can be the perfect show 3D subtitles, images and other visual details. Compared with the standard 3D movie screen, the Samsung 3D Cinema LED both sitting in the audience where can provide a consistent picture quality in the whole theater.

This screen supports high dynamic range (HDR), close to 9 million pixels, nearly 10.3 meters wide, 5.4 meters high, and a great experience for the audience. Have a super HD 4K resolution (4096 x 2160) and higher than ordinary cinema standard peak brightness of nearly ten times, in order to provide more personally on the scene experience, but also for the Samsung JBL equipped with the cutting-edge audio technology.
