SemiLEDs Thursday NASDAQ listed on the first day up to 51.53%

Beijing time on December 10th, Taiwan Xuming photoelectric (SemiLEDs Corp) Thursday on Nasdaq, opening price of $24, up 41% over the issue price; then its stock price continued to upward, closing up 51.53%, to close at $25.76.

Previously, the issue price of $17, higher than the previously announced issue price range of $14.50-16.50. The IPO issued 5 million 250 thousand copies of ADS, financing nearly $90 million.

SemiLEDs was founded in 2005, mainly engaged in the manufacture and research of LED epitaxy, chip, packaging; over the past 12 months revenue of $29 million.
