Seoul semiconductor and TOE reached agreement on the use of white LED silicate phosphor

South Korea LED (Seoul Semiconductor Co. semiconductor maker Seoul Ltd) recently announced that Seoul with the European TridonicAtco OptoELectronics GmbH semiconductor (TOE) and its partners will use white LED phosphor silicate, reach a cross licensing agreement.

Phosphorus is an indispensable raw material for the production of white LED. More importantly, the use of LED (silicate system phosphors) white LED is widely mentioned in many patents, and with the use of other phosphorus compounds have a significant difference.

With a cross licensing agreement, Seoul semiconductor can be used in the production and marketing of silicate phosphor white LED, Seoul semiconductor white LED patent using Silicate Phosphors and related protocols will be protected.
