Singapore: switch to LED lights for Christmas lights

Recently, Singapore's Orchard Road and some of Singapore's major tourist attractions and shopping centers, have been lit Christmas lights. Although there are more than a month away from Christmas, but everywhere is filled with festive atmosphere.

In 2008, the whole nation of Singapore in the promotion of energy saving, the Singapore Tourism Board in response to the call of the government, in the light of 4 kilometers of orchard shopping street, and 1.6 kilometers of coastal areas of Christmas lights, to replace the previously used LED bulb, incandescent bulbs, saving more than 70% energy consumption.
