Sipex Hangzhou Silan cooperation foundry capacity 34000

America analog IC supplier Sipex company said recently, and has Chinese Hangzhou Silan Microelectronics (Silan-IC) and its subsidiary Hangzhou Silan IC signed a final foundry service agreement. Specific financial terms were not disclosed. According to Sipex, the agreement covers foundry manufacturing, product licensing, technology transfer and manufacturing equipment sales.

Sipex company said in September last year, it will end in California Milpitas (Milpitas) manufacturing business, and outsource to Hangzhou Silan integrated circuit.

Sipex introduction, Hangzhou Silan IC company currently has two 5 inch wafer production line to produce 20000 IC wafers and 20000 discrete semiconductor wafer. Sipex said that the plan to improve the requirements Hangzhou Silan integrated circuits company monthly production capacity of 34000 wafers. The transition is completed, Sipex devices will be shipped to Hangzhou.

Silan has been through two different kinds of technology to produce high quality soft materials. It is expected that all technical qualifications will be obtained during the year. In the process of technology transfer, Sipex Milpitas Fabs continue to maintain a high level of output. Sipex also said the expectations of the strategic partnership with Hangzhou Silan integrated circuit is extended to other areas.
