Skype AMD involved in the antitrust case function favour Intel

The cause of the matter in terms of foreign claims Skype, AMD dual core or single core chip users can only hold a conference call of 5 people, because only Intel chips have the necessary performance of the conference call held by 10 people. Skype 2 in the conference call function can only be achieved on the Intel dual core processor. AMD has an objection to this. Responsible for the AMD of Intel antitrust chief lawyer Chuck Diamond said that Intel Skype is to offer some "sweetness", so Skype will be limited to only the function of Intel users. Intel denies such a behavior, even if the transaction does not involve economic interests, as a company with a larger market share, Intel should comply with the rules.

Earlier this month, the company's senior executives declined to comment when asked if Skype had tested its software on Intel and AMD's dual core chips. A Intel representative confirmed that the Intel dual core chip does not specifically enhance the performance of VoIP (Skype software) instructions.

Skype did not respond to the subpoena to the media.
