South Korea two chip manufacturers in the United States suffered a class action lawsuit facing huge compensation

Korea two chip manufacturers - Samsung Electronics and Hynix company in the United States is facing a series of lawsuits alleged price manipulation.

In October last year, due to alleged price manipulation, the world's second largest computer chip maker Samsung Electronics has agreed to pay $300 million in American competitors, this is the history of the United States second antitrust fines. For the same reason, Hynix, the world's third largest semiconductor maker, was fined $182 million.

In addition to the fine, the two companies currently in the United States is suing for damages by consumers. This is the first time Korea Companies experienced overseas consumer price manipulation of class action.

In DELL, HP and apple computer and other U.S. manufacturers accused, the United States government in recent years has been in the investigation of whether the manufacturer in the global chip price manipulation. So far, Samsung Electronics, Germany's Infineon and Japan's Elpida companies have admitted irregularities.
