Summary of common lamps and lanterns and their special requirements

(a) EN specification products (i.e. CE products)

From the beginning of 1995, the EU input (Austria Austria/ Belgium/ Demark/ Finland/ Finland Belgium Denmark France Germany Greece Greece/ Germany/ France/ British England/ Iceland Iceland/ Ireland/ Italy/ Holland/ Holland Italy Ireland Norway Luxemburg Luxembourg/ Norway/ Portugal/ Spian/ Sweden/ Portugal Spain Sweden Switzerland Switzerland) products CE system, namely, manufacturers must ensure that the production of products in full compliance with the relevant EU command and make CE file, you can paste CE symbol input the EU, do not need any certification (SEMKO, GS, NF and other cases, the certification is only as customer requirements). The EU government to control the quality of products through sampling, such as the detection of products do not meet the relevant requirements of the directive, the manufacturer will face large fines and prohibit the import of EU sanctions.

CE mark is a safety mark, not a quality mark.

A kite with a CE logo does not mean that it can fly well, but only that the kite meets the safety requirements.

The EU directive for A. lamps is mainly:

A. low voltage instruction - LowVoltageDirective73/23/EEC: operating voltage of 50 ~ 1000V

Lamps must comply with EN60598 safety standards.

B. Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive - EMC (Electro-magneticCompatibility) Directive

89/336/EEC: lamps must comply with EN55015 electromagnetic compatibility standards. (mainly for electronic circuits containing light)

C. packaging directive - Directive94/62/EEConPackagingandPackagingWaste: lamp packaging must comply with the requirements of this directive text. The main content can not use Polyform (Bao Lilong), heavy metal content can not be too high.

From July 1, 2006 onwards, electrical and electronic equipment on the market in the EU shall not contain lead, mercury, cadmium, chromium six, two polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) and polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) a total of six kinds of harmful substances, including AC DC power is less than 1000V, 8 kinds of electrical and electronic products more than 1500V, covering almost all small and medium-sized electrical and electronic equipment.

B. current EN60598 standard (commonly used)

It contains a EN605981:2000LuminairesPart1:Generalrequirementsandtexts working voltage is 0 ~ 1000V lamps all safety requirements and test items.

What are the terms for ultra low voltage lamp EN60598 - 2 - 23:1997Extralowvoltagelightingsystemsforfilamentlamps - 1 in the specified EN60598 (CLASS III), at the same time that some special requirements of this kind of lamps.

The main contents of the C.CE file: the whole lamp test report, the main electrical parts of the certificate / test report and related quality control documents (such as drawings, product specifications, BOM, etc.). Note: in EN products, the product can only be used on the CDF electrical parts. CDFComponentDataForm, this kind of parts need certificate. According to the CE specifications of the production of lamps, the main electrical components are selected with VDE certification, such as lamp caps, wires, plugs, etc.. Class II portable lamp plug commonly used double straight pin round plug; electronic circuit parts, to have EMC certification.

(two) GB specification

China's national standards for lighting products are GB7000 series, corresponding to the IEC60598 series (EN60598 series). From May 1, 2003 onwards, all in electrical and electronic products sales Chinese market, the implementation of the system of compulsory certification mark China, "" name "certification marks China compulsory certification" (English name for "ChinaCompulsoryCertification", English abbreviation "CCC", also referred to as the "3C" logo). 3C certification includes electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements. All electrical and electronic products can only be sold in the Chinese market only through the 3C certification and the corresponding marking.

3C certification mark: there are four kinds of commonly used safety certification marks; fire safety and electromagnetic compatibility, electromagnetic compatibility certification marks, signs of domestic products, using the E14 and E27 lamp CQC certification and logo, wire, plug line 3C certification and CCC logo. Class II portable lamp is using double straight foot flat plug, class I mobile lamp adopts eight tripod flat plug.

(three) UL specification in the United States and Canada

Products exported to the United States and Canada to enforce electromagnetic compatibility requirements FCC certification. Safety requirements for lighting products is the main UL153, UL1598 two mandatory documents.

Main features of UL specification products:

1) voltage is AC120V60HZ;

2) flat type single layer insulated power supply line with movable UL lamp, which can be used for movable lamp;

3 fixed lamps should have grounding measures. Ground wire or bare copper wire.

4 use UL certified electrical components such as lamp caps, wires, plugs.

5) use of English and French UL documents in accordance with the requirements of the two words of the label.

6) as far as possible the whole package shipment.

(four) SAA specification

The implementation of SAA certification system, while the implementation of EMC requirements, the Australian C-Tick for electronic products EMC certification requirements of the national standard certification mark. At this stage, SAA has adopted IEC system standards. The main difference between SAA specification and EN specification:

1) voltage is AC240V50HZ;

2) use eight flat or three eight flat plug;

3) SAA certified round wire;

Note: SAA certified products can only be used on the CDF electrical parts listed.

(five) Hongkong HK specification

Requirements lamp, wire, plug to have VDE/SEMKO/TQM certification, the whole lamp according to the EN60598 standard test report, and signed a declaration of conformity can be sold. Voltage AC220V50HZ, BS specification plug. Currently not mandatory EMC requirements.

(six) Japan JIS specification

Japan's DENTORL Act (electrical equipment and materials control act) provides that the 498 products into the Japanese market must be certified by security. Among them, 165 kinds of products should be T-MARK certification, 333 kinds of B products should obtain S-MARK certification. Lamps that use the light source of civil or household products are B products, according to the requirements of JIS standard production. Since April 1, 2001, the electrical equipment and Materials Control Act (DENTORL) was officially renamed the "Electrical Product Safety Act (DENAN)"". Different from the previous agreement on the regulation of the regulatory system, the new system will be an unofficial agency to ensure the safety of the product. The original T logo and other signs are no longer used, replaced by PSE certification and logo.

The specified class of electrical equipment and material products, must have received the Japanese Trade Ministry of industry approved third party certification, according to the DENAN method, the manufacturer has the obligation to save the test results and prove that the label must have a diamond PSE logo.

The B class specifies the electrical equipment and materials must be certified by products, Japan's trade Ministry of industry approved third party certification body, according to the DENAN method, the manufacturer has the obligation to save the test results and prove that the label must have a circular PSE logo.

Japan power grid voltage is AC100V50HZ/60HZ. Mandatory PSE certification for electrical components. Can be considered in accordance with UL specifications for production, testing. Plug commonly used double flat pin line, non-polar distinction.

(seven) South Africa SABS specifications

Using IEC60598 system standard,

(a) the grid voltage is AC220V ~ 250V50Hz;

(b) plug for South Africa three round pin plug;

(c) EMC requirements for electronic products.

(eight) BS (UK) specification

Using IEC60598 system, the national standard for BS.

(a) the voltage is AC240V, 50HZ

(b) use a three pin plug

(c) available B15, B22 bayonet cap.
