Survey shows that LED makes the public feel safer

We reported in Rowley, North Carolina, United States (Raleigh) in cooperation with the Cree company to create "LED city (LED City)", the first project is Amtech Lighting cooperation Services company responsible for the use of 141 LSG companies in the municipal building in the parking lot of the ODL (the most optimized digital lighting low hanging LED lamp) (LED chip Cree) orange lamp replacement before dark, and was completed in December 06. In the replacement lamp before and after Cree was commissioned by the Mindwave Research company conducted two questionnaires (one is to replace the previous replacement after each number is 200), and in March 29, 2007 on the Cree website published the results. The results show that the use of LED lights parking lot so that most of the feedback generated a more positive response, the specific situation is as follows:

Replace the light source, both men and women feel more secure: 74% evaluation of parking lot is "very safe", 2% of people think that "unsafe"; and before the replacement, only 42% of people feel very safe parking lot, 13% of people think that is not safe.

After replacing the light source, the parking lot was evaluated as "very good" (Excellent), with an increase of 100%, while the "poor" (poor) was reduced from the previous 8% to $1%.

86% of people think that after the replacement of the LED lamp lighting quality is very good, an increase of more than 2.58 times before; and that the number of bad people also fell from the number of 18% to 2%.

76% of people believe that the cleanliness of the parking lot is very good, compared to the previous replacement of 58%. The mayor of Rowley, also known as LED technology has brought significant benefits for the city infrastructure and citizens, the results show that LED not only environmental protection, energy saving, can improve the quality of lighting, the bright white light also let the public feel more secure.
