Suzhou and international marriage promotion LED demonstration project

Suzhou Urban Lighting Management Office signed a memorandum of strategic cooperation with the climate group, the two sides decided to establish a strategic partnership to jointly carry out LED demonstration and promotion projects in Suzhou, to achieve low-carbon lighting.

Suzhou city management office lighting and climate organization in the bilateral strategic cooperation memorandum signed an understanding of organizational climate (TheClimateGroup) is an international non-profit organization, founded in April 2004, by the then British Prime Minister Blair and more than 20 business and government leaders co sponsored, is committed to promoting the development of local government departments and enterprises low carbon economy, climate change.

The cooperation is mainly to give full play to the advantages of both sides in the implementation of the LED demonstration project in Suzhou. The global climate organization and Technology City Project Director PhilipJessup said, selected Suzhou city lighting management department as a partner, is a fancy lighting in "the low carbon" lighting efforts and lighting at the mature operation management mechanism.

It is reported that in the LED together to carry out demonstration projects, to achieve "low carbon" lighting, climate organization will be specifically responsible for the pilot project of LED technical specification and expert support, organization of domestic and international low carbon city alliance seminar and promotion to broaden the financing channels for the project, to seek long-term capital support. Lighting Department will be responsible for the implementation of specific programs, the project will be included in the national project, to determine the specific location of the pilot, the organization of bidding procurement, data collection and analysis of the follow-up and promotion. Currently specific cooperation related matters, the two sides are under further consultation.
