Suzhou comprehensively promote LED demonstration project

In March 6th, the reporter was informed that the Suzhou city management office lighting and Climate Group signed a strategic cooperation memorandum, the two sides decided to establish a strategic partnership, jointly carried out in Suzhou LED demonstration and promotion project, implementation of the "low carbon" lighting.

It is understood that the climate group (The Climate Group) is an international non-profit organization, founded in April 2004, CO sponsored by the then British Prime Minister Blair and more than 20 business and government leaders, is committed to promoting the local government departments and businesses in the development of low-carbon economy, adapt to climate change.

The cooperation is mainly to give full play to the advantages of both sides in the implementation of the LED demonstration project in Suzhou. The global climate organization and Technology City Project Director Philip Jessup said, selected Suzhou city lighting management office as a partner, is a fancy lighting in "the low carbon" lighting efforts and lighting at the mature operation management mechanism.

It is reported that in the LED together to carry out demonstration projects, to achieve "low carbon" lighting, climate organization will be specifically responsible for the pilot project of LED technical specification and expert support, organization of domestic and international low carbon city alliance seminar and promotion to broaden the financing channels for the project, to seek long-term capital support. Lighting Department will be responsible for the implementation of specific programs, the project will be included in the national project, to determine the specific location of the pilot, the organization of bidding procurement, data collection and analysis of the follow-up and promotion. Currently specific cooperation related matters, the two sides are under further consultation.
