TCL group LED module mass production

TCL [3.73 -0.80%] group announced yesterday, and AU Optronics cooperation LED backlight module project this month entered the production stage, the annual output of the LED backlight module will be more than 3 million 600 thousand pieces, covering 32 inches ~55 inches mainstream size.

TCL group said that the production of LED backlight module project, indicating that the group's LED LCD TV will be further product, technology, cost and speed and other integrated competitive advantage. Market forecast, the future price of large-size LCD TV is expected to decline further.

TCL group also revealed that its TCL ace appliance (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. to 103 million yuan price to the transfer of ownership of the equity investment to the third party, the transaction will bring nearly $36 million revenue for the group. The funds will be mainly used to invest in the development of LCD and LED TV and other core business.
