LEDinside pointed out that in the new century, benefiting from the blue chip LED chip output and new customers to increase the size of the supply, in March revenues of 120 million yuan, the monthly growth rate of up to 44.6%. As for the bright round part, March revenue 157 million yuan, a record high, mainly because the volume of small and medium size backlight and High Power LED driven by increased revenue growth.
As for the downstream part of the LED package, LEDinside said that although the monthly revenue growth rate in March outperformed the upstream chip manufacturers, but the overall revenue is still lower than the total performance in January this year. LEDinside analyst Chu Chao said in, because most chip makers began to gradually increase the MOCVD machine in the first quarter, LEDinside estimates for the second quarter LED in the upstream epitaxial output will continue to increase, the downstream packaging industry will also be synchronized to benefit, so LED manufacturers in April revenue is expected to return to temperature. In the application part, the traditional popular quarter comes, small and medium size panels no longer appear like last year serious shortage phenomenon, so in small and medium size LED backlight will look compared to the annual growth of four yuan, the current high brightness (UHB) LED order has significantly warmed.
