Taiwan scheduled to complete the second half of 2008 LED lamps specification draft

Taiwan is expected to be completed in the second half of 2008 draft specification LED street / street, it is used as a reference for Taiwan road lighting standards and LED lighting standards, ITRI has temporarily determined by LED in 12 street specification. The draft specification will be submitted to the Taiwan Bureau of standards, measurement and testing Bureau approval.

It is understood that the test has ITRI about 40 ~ 60 LED LED lamp manufacturers products, but less than 5 LED Taiwan factory received confirmation, confirmation is capable of producing 70 ~ 80lm/W LED manufacturer, can replace the mercury vapor lamp. This means that a considerable part of the manufacturers can not overcome the technical barriers to light and color adjustment.
