The Fifteenth National Symposium on compound semiconductor materials, microwave devices and optoelectronic devices

The Fifteenth National Conference on compound semiconductor materials, microwave devices and optoelectronic devices was held in Guangzhou in November 30, 2008. The conference is sponsored by the China Electronics Association semiconductor and integrated technology branch, electronic materials branch, Zhongshan University, State Key Laboratory of optoelectronic materials and technology and the Guangzhou Association for science and technology. Conference on compound semiconductors, especially the development of wide band gap compound semiconductor in recent years the rapid development of the material growth, device and circuit design, manufacturing process and its applications and the latest achievements of research, to investigate the current situation and development trend of international semiconductor microwave devices and optoelectronic devices and solid films. The meeting shall be composed of a report and a special report.

In this meeting, semiconductor lighting has become one of the focus of research. The meeting invited the national semiconductor lighting engineering research and Industry Alliance Secretary General Ms. Wu Ling made a keynote report titled "the status quo and development trend of" semiconductor lighting China, national semiconductor lighting engineering research and Industry Alliance chairman, Li Jin, director of the Institute of semiconductors Fujian made "some new developments" semiconductor lighting technology theme report. The Secretary General Wu Ling introduced the current international financial crisis caused by the semiconductor lighting industry in China, and pointed out that China's semiconductor lighting industry overall good development trend has not changed, usher in a new development peak in 2010.
