The Ministry of health of Canada to China produced LED color string recall

December 3, 2010, the Ministry of health and Zellers Inc. jointly announced a voluntary recall of Chinese made indoor / outdoor LED lantern string.

The product was recalled for the Westinghouse brand indoor / outdoor LED lights string, CSA (Canadian Standards Association) registration number 77218, the string of lights from 2010 to 10 in November, the Canadian Zellers store sales.

The number of goods recalled was about 163 thousand sets. The reason for the recall, the string of lights exposed, causing the user to the risk of electric shock or fire. Up to now, the Ministry of health has not received any reports of accidents.

To this end, the Ministry of Health recommends that consumers immediately stop using the recalled colored string, and contact with the Zellers store returns and a full refund.
