The United States has recalled Chinese LED bulbs

In July 15, 2014, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Halco jointly announced a voluntary recall of China's LED bulbs.

The recalled product, called PrOLED bulbs, is a LED light bulb for outdoor safety protection. It has a silver white metal conical shell. The product is 14 watts or 18 watts, including model PAR30 and PAR38. The following is the recall of product information:

The product has been sold at American light retail stores since June 2009 March at a price of about $20-100 -2014.

The recalled products were sold in the United States at about 9500. Recall the reasons: LED bulb can overheat, falling, danger and burn injured consumers. Up to now, Halco company has received 5 LED light bulb from the socket off the accident report, but did not cause casualties.

To this end, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recommends that consumers immediately stop using the product, remove the bulb from a fixed position, and contact Halco company, free replacement LED bulbs.
